What data does MOMDAY collect, and how is it used?
Quick answer: MOMDAY collects what it needs to run your account and program: your sign in details, your onboarding answers, optional Apple Watch and Apple Health data if you connect them, what you post in the Community, and usage data. MOMDAY does not sell your personal information and never uses your health data for targeted advertising.
What MOMDAY collects
Account: name, email, password (for email sign in), profile photo.
Onboarding answers: due date, delivery date, delivery type (vaginal or cesarean), whether you have been cleared for exercise (Yes or Not yet), and recovery stage (Rehabilitate or Build Strength), plus your equipment, workout style, and difficulty choices.
Apple Watch and Apple Health (optional, iPhone): if you turn on Track with Apple Watch and allow Apple Health access, MOMDAY receives date of birth (used for heart rate zones), active energy, workouts, heart rate (zones and average), and calories.
Workout logs: the dumbbell weights and reps you enter in Self-Paced workouts.
Community: posts, comments, and photos you share. Posts are visible to other members.
Usage and device data, including your time zone, to keep the app working.
What not to send
Do not send medical records, test results, diagnoses, or notes from a healthcare provider to MOMDAY, in the app, in the Community, or by email. The App Terms ask you not to share health information with MOMDAY except through your onboarding answers and the tracking you turn on.
